{"id":692,"date":"2015-04-09T20:00:54","date_gmt":"2015-04-09T20:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.formstonecastle.com\/?p=692"},"modified":"2015-04-22T19:12:58","modified_gmt":"2015-04-22T19:12:58","slug":"the-stairs-part-v","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.formstonecastle.com\/?p=692","title":{"rendered":"The Stairs &#8211; Part V"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With\u00a0the help of the wonderful Casey and Alana we had gotten the top 3\u00a0curved treads\u00a0and the 5 straight treads\u00a0up several weeks ago\u00a0after\u00a0a marathon 12 hour day of working on them. \u00a0After that we came to a stand still; we were out of joists to make more stairs.<\/p>\n<p>Siri and I picked 15 feet of joists\u00a0from our friend Adam. After a quick planing, I marked them out in pencil in the basement to maximize every inch.\u00a0My goal\u00a0was to build them while\u00a0Siri was away in Seattle for a week. \u00a0I had a friend Julia come help me cut\u00a0the\u00a0boards.
